Identified for their wide variety of skateboards that cover every demographic, they continue to pioneer what's possible on 4 wheels and can now effectively communicate their vision through lifelike imaging.

Austin Donohue: What is one of the biggest surprises in working with hoot?

Derek Hall: We do all our photography in-house which gives us complete control in highlighting exactly what we want to while showcasing the board. When we initially started working with hoot, we were concerned about losing that control, but it was really straightforward and easy to get the the point where you understood exactly the features we wanted to emphasize in each product. We were able to be part of the creative process in every revision which still granted us that control.

Dennis Telfer: It's a really nice way to showcase the product when we can't necessarily get all the angles into one photography. Hoot gives the end consumer a good sense of what the board really looks like without being able to hold it in a shop.

Austin Donohue: What do you think hoot contributes to your site that makes you want to continue to use it?

Derek Hall: It provides a high-end feel and gives people confidence by coloring in details that could be missed. People have more assurance in the company and the products with the ability to flip and spin a product around adding more to the brand image. It makes us look a little more pro than we actually are around here.

Austin Donohue: Based on your experience so far, what are your future plans with hoot?

Dennis Telfer: Ultimately I'd like to have everything that we sell shot in a 360 view. It's been really nice. We're a manufacturer and the cost of doing business here in California is really high, so we have to pick and choose, but we definitely noticed a big spike in sales and clicks which was evident right away.
